RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IN OKLAHOMA

Oklahoma's successful relocation assistance program attempts to ensure that each displaced individual receives the maximum benefits and assistance to which they are entitled. Although governed by federal and state laws and regulations, the requirements of each relocatee are considered on an individual basis. The major shortcomings in the states program are in the areas of excessive federal regulations and in the lack of equality for business displacees. Comments are made on both shortcomings.
