PLASTIC ANALYSIS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BOX GIRDERS UNDER COMBINED LOADING
ANALYSE PLASTIQUE DES POUTRES-CAISSONS EN BETON ARME SOUS CHARGEMENT COMBINE
A study was made of the effect of transverse bending on the deformations of the 4 panels of a box girder. It led to a kinematic solution which was used to investigate the risk of crushing in concrete at the ultimate state. This method of analysis is compared to the current CEB regulations. (TRRL)
