INFLUENCE OF THE TIME DURATION OF YELLOW TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON DRIVER RESPONSE

The study described was conducted to determine how intersection conflict frequency depended on yellow signal time duration at two suburban arterial intersections under different traffic and environmental conditions. The findings of this study apply to the pretimed traffic signals.
