CORROSION IN VALVES AND PUMPS FOR SEA WATER

Valves and pumps in seawater tube systems are very often subject to corrosion attacks. This paper presents the results of tests carried out under controlled laboratory conditions to obtain more reliable corrosion data for a number of the most frequently used alloys. A detailed description of this test method is given.
