FULL-RESTORATION METHOD FOR CLOSING SPUR ROADS

When a temporary forest road is being closed, it may be desirable to restore its takeoff to something approaching undisturbed conditions. The author describes a full-restoration method that has proven effective in central Washington State, particularly when appearance of the site or elimination of vehicular traffic is a critical concern.
