COSTS CORRELATED FOR N. SEA PLATFORMS

The cost correlations presented are in terms of 1976 dollars and for the most part based on cost data estimates from that year. The estimates may be referred to any other money and time references using proper exchange rates and inflation factors. The cost correlating parameters must be chosen to capture the most cost determining features for an offshore platform. The parameter choices resulted from a distinction between superstructure, substructure, and wells. The cost parameters for these main parts of an offshore production facility are considered separately.
