ON THE PROTECTION OF SWEAT DAMAGE IN CARGO IN CONTAINER (4TH REPORT)

The authors discuss equations for calculating the simultaneous diffusion of heat and moisture in containerised cargo, for the purpose of protecting it against sweat damage. The constants and coefficients of heat and moisture in a bulk-cargo hay cube are measured. The distribution of temperature and humidity in the hay cube are calculated, using the equations, constants, and coefficients noted. Order from BSRA as No. 54,940.
