FUTURE AVAILABILITY OF ASPHALTS
This paper examines in detail the seven principal factors that affect asphalt availability. These are: price; heavy fuel oil market prices; government regulations; heavy crude oil usage-refinery facilities; demand; transportation; and asphalt specifications-types of crude oil. In conclusion it is stated that, although there are a multitude of problems and factors affecting the availability of asphalt, demands will be met and users or contractors should not be overly concerned about long range availability.
