EVALUATION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEMS USING LABORATORY SIMULATION TECHNIQUES
In this paper the laboratory facilities for testing anti-lock brake systems developed at Carleton are described. The laboratory facilities are used to test two commercially available anti-lock systems. Based on the test results, a comparison of the performance of the two anti-lock systems is made. The slip performance, stopping distance, braking effectiveness and air consumption of the systems are examined. (TRRL)
