STRENGTH IN SHEAR OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BRIDGE ARTICULATIONS WITHOUT WEB REINFORCEMENT
Analytical and experimental results of 22 reinforced concrete bridge articulations failing in shear are presented. The variables considered are the pattern of loading, concrete strength, tensile steel, cut off distance and effective depths. Based on experimental results a proposal has been made to predict the diagonal cracking strength of the bridge articulations without web reinforcement. (Author/TRRL)
