WINTER ICE MOTION IN THE SOUTHERN BEAUFORT SEA FROM RAMS BUOY DATA ANALYSIS 1975-1978

In this paper, samples of drift tracks and daily ice movement statistics are presented; the data from the three winters are summarized, and the application of these data to oil industry requirements is discussed particularly with reference to engineering design and the fate of an oil spill in moving ice.
