ANTIFOULING PAINTS HELP REDUCE FUEL COSTS
The article contains excerpts from some of the presentations made at a worldwide conference held in Norway by the Export Council of Norway in co-operation with Jotun Marine Coatings (JMC), which in turn has a broad co-operative agreement with Nippon Oil & Fats Co. Ltd. of Japan. The antifouling systems of these two companies ("Seamaster" resp. "Takata LLL") are discussed. The concept of reactivatable and self-polishing A/Fs and the financial aspect of sophisticated and conventional antifoulings are dealt with. Order from NSFI as NOo. 22229.
