BITUMEN ROAD EMULSIONS: ROAD BINDERS FOR THE 1980S
This paper is intended to provide historical background, together with general technical and practical information illustrating progress in road emulsion technology, particularly during more recent years. It is also the intention of the Road Emulsion Association to follow up this introductory paper with periodical publication of technical data sheets giving more specific and detailed information. It is hoped that continued development will enable emulsions to make an increasingly important contribution towards energy conservation and economies in road construction and maintenance. (a) (TRRL)
