Several new projects involving milling of track worn concrete and bituminous road surfaces have now been successfully completed, indicating that the method no longer is to be regarded as an experiment. Milling operations performed since July 1979 have made it clear that this method can be regarded as an adequate, alternative maintenance method for concrete pavements, concrete paving blocks, and bituminous road surfaces.
