SHEAR STRENGTHS OF FLAT SLAB DECKS SUBJECTED TO HEAVY LOADS
Design problems involved in the construction of marine piers as related to extremely high point loads are discussed. Test results are compared and analyzed. Tests were made on a series of slab strips simulating conditions in the region of a slab between two opposed point loads.
