TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIESEL PROPULSION PLANTS SINCE 1974
ENTWICKLUNGSTENDENZEN BEI DIESELANTRIEBSANLAGEN SEIT 1974
This paper concentrates on the necessity of further improvements in the overall efficiency of diesel propulsion plants. The authors state that the probability of increased figures for the engine's thermal efficiency seems small in comparison with the scatter range valid for propulsive efficiency figures realized with different diesel engine propulsion plants.
