CONSIDER EVERY ERROR SOURCE FOR DATA ACQUISITION DESIGN
According to one manufacturer of data acquisition components, the most significant cost in building a data acquisition system is the common need to redesign it. Perhaps 70 percent of all data acquisition systems presently in use are not performing to their rated specifications because the designers failed to fully consider the error sources inherent in their choice of components and system architecture. The two-part article examines the trade-offs in system design and the pitfalls to avoid.
