LIFERAFTS-WHAT NEXT? PART I
The maintenance and servicing of liferafts is reviewed and the conditions imposed by the DOT and IMCO are discussed. It is emphasized that inspection by unauthorized agents is to be avoided, instead the manufacturers' approved service stations should be used. Some suggestions of achieving and maintaining minimum standards are offered.
