A New Multi-Source Traffic Data Integration Framework for Traffic Analysis and Performance Measurement
This paper proposes a traffic data integration framework that addresses the challenges of analyzing multi-source data. The framework is based on a uniform roadway referencing layer, which can support comprehensive traffic analysis based on multi-source traffic data. The authors propose an iterative map conflation algorithm and analyze traffic performance and its influential factors to evaluate travel time reliability. The traffic data integration framework presented is shown to be flexible, efficient, and extensible.
