Meeting the challenge of forecast export coal volume growth in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales

Continued growth and investment over the last ten years has seen coal exports increase from 30 to 66 million tonnes per annum, with industry forecasts projecting that exports will further increase to 100 million tonnes by 2005. This paper sets out Rail Infrastructure Corporation's strategies and initiatives to meet this challenge.
