A COMPUTER PROGRAM TO PROCESS FIELD DATA COLLECTED WITH THE NEUTRON MOISTURE METER

This FORTRAN program has been designed to provide a means of converting field data collected with the neutron moisture meter into a form which will aid the rapid assessment of soil water status in field experiments. The user can select from printed or graphical output of soil water information in various levels of detail from the water content calculated from each count rate to summarized information about the behaviour of groups of access holes over a time period. The program allows the use of a separate calibration for each reading depth, and permits the calibration to be changed during the course of an experiment (A). (TRRL)
