A Method of Suppressing the Temperature Dependency of Active Control Engine Mount System

Active Control Engine Mount (ACM) power variation increases with ACM power increase and it may affect vehicle ride comfort. This ACM power variation hike is caused by a temperature dependence of a linear solenoid that drives the ACM. In order to suppress temperature dependence, the relations of the linear solenoid’s plunger position, ACM power, and ACM control parameter were analyzed. As a result, it was found that ACM driving duty of ACM control parameter was affected by temperature dependence of the plunger position. The ACM power temperature dependence was then suppressed by using ACM driving duty during feedback control.
