ORTHOPHOTOGRAPHY IN THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
This study deals with the experimentation and trial and errors that this agency went through to arrive at a workable solution. It describes all the techniques tried, including those used in the instrument and those used in the photo lab. This study will also deal with some of the management problems that develop while implementing a procedure for using orthophotographs for construction plans of highways. A case history is presented from the time the agency decided to purchase the equipment to the workable solution of the present time covering a time period of seven years.
