LIQUID CRYSTAL DASH DISPLAYS INCREASE IN SIZE
Researchers from Mitsubishi Electric Corp. have developed a large-area liquid crystal display (LCD) suitable for automobile instrument panels. The development of a mixture of liquid crystal material aided in meeting the automotive environmental requirements of temperature range and response time. The large-area LCD uses color in conjunction with digital and bargraph displays.
