OBSERVATION AND RECORDING METHODS USED IN THE TRAFFIC CONFLICTS TECHNIQUE
The purpose of this paper is to give a brief survey of the similarities and differences in the ways in which traffic conflict studies are made in different countries for use as a background for discussion at the 2nd International Workshop. The paper summarises the main elements of each organisation's operational definition of a traffic conflict and categorises the observation techniques employed. (TRRL)
