IMPACT ON AIR TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE RESEARCH FROM LOSS OF CAB DATA VIA DEREGULATION

A conference session at the 1980 TRB Annual Meeting was held to discuss the growing concern in the aviation research community regarding the potential impact of the loss of the data collected by the Civil Aeronautics Board from the airlines when the CAB terminates under the provisions of the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978. This Circular contains summaries of the views presented by each participant. The participants represented a wide spectrum of the users and suppliers of the data.
