A STUDY OF THE APPLICATION OF RHEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF INTRUSION MORTAR TO ESTIMATE THE LATERAL PRESSURE OF PREPLACED AGGREGATE CONCRETE

In order to establish a practical formula for calculating the lateral pressure of premixed concrete acting on formwork during the placing of premixed concrete for large-sized structures, tests using the rheological properties of intrusion mortar were carried out. The author conducted experiments to determine time-dependent changes in the shear characteristics of intrusion mortar, model experiments on lateral pressure, experiments on the influence of coarse aggregate size on vertical pressure, and surveys of past research work.
