SELECTION OF MOBILE LOADING AND TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT IN CEMENT QUARRIES

CHOIX DES ENGINS MOBILES DE CHARGEMENT ET DE TRANSPORT EN CARRIERE DE CIMENTERIES

The author studies the selection of mobile machines: boring rig, shovels, loaders, bulls, dumpers, compressors as a function of different criteria: (1) mobility and autonomy of the equipment; (2) standardization of the equipment for each quarry; (3) performance and safety margin; (4) organization of maintenance, maintenance costs; (5) supply of spare parts; (6) possible training of the personnel by the manufacturer; (7) availability of literature written in French on the operation and maintenance of the machines; (8) purchase price expressed for working order and payment time-limit.
