Public transport in Helsinki forms an organization which belongs to the municipality. It offers passengers numerous and widely varied services. In the past however, these services were often very difficult to identify and use because the vehicles, different types of buildings and structures, equipment and information printed were presented under different formats. A great effort of coordination was made and a systematic programme set up to project a coherent image of the organization to the public. (TRRL)
