PROMOTING CIVIL ENGINEERING ENTERPRISES IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. STUDY OF PROGRAMMES
PROMOTION DES ENNTREPRISES DE GENIE CIVIL DANS LES PAYS EN VOIE DE DEVELOPPEMENT-ETUDE DES PROGRAMMES
This article comments on a study recently conducted in the Ivory Coast. Details are given of the steps to be taken to establish local civil engineering enterprises in developing countries and of the measures to implement to ensure such an establishment. The steps for the establishment of such a programme consist of: Phase 1. Analytical study of the potential market, existing enterprises and their activity; Phase 2 in which the enterprises best adapted to local conditions are investigated in depth together with the measures indispensable or useful to their creation and development.
