A SURVEY OF TRAFFIC CONTROL RESEARCH (2)
OVERZICHT RESEARCH VERKEERSREGELINGEN (2)
Experience has shown that knowledge of traffic control should be incorporated into programs which facilitate the use of that knowledge as much as possible. For this reason, the CAPCAL program was developed, with which capacities etc can be exactly calculated by using geometric data. Furthermore the author discusses the block-structure, which automatically facilitates the use of various parameters and existing freedom while setting up a traffic control system. (a) (TRRL)
