INTERACTION OF FLEXURE AND TORSION IN STEEL-CONCRETE COMPOSITE BEAMS
The results of tests on five composite beams, tested to destruction under combined flexure and torsion, are discussed with reference to earlier published data. In the tests, the ratios between the bending and torsional moments were maintained constant. The ultimate strengths of the reinforced concrete slab and composite beam are assessed from tests carried out in simple torsion. (Author/TRRL)
