NEW METHODS OF RETARDER CONTROL

NEUE WEGE ZUR STEUERUNG VON GLEISBREMSEN

A new design for secondary retarder control to meet the demand for greater precision in controlling the speed of the vehicle. The process is controlled by a control and regulation algorithm. An essential feature of the algorithm is the fact that all statistical and dynamic data relating to the movement of the vehicle are measured and processed in order to define the necessary and permitted braking force.
