SUSPENSION OF RAIL COACHES

ZAWIESZENIE WAGNOW OSOBOWYCH

A description is given of an experimental bogie spring suspension which uses differentially coupled torsion bars. The choice of the design parameters for a system of coupled torsion bars is discussed. The results of tests of an experimental model of a spring suspension system are presented. The static and dynamic properties of this model are evaluated.
