Acceptance test results have considerable importance when used to determine the quality of concrete produced on, or delivered to, a construction site. The importance is greater in the case of compression test results which are decided in accordance with current standards for 28-day strength. This importance of obtaining accurate results for site concrete testing has resulted in the Testing Laboratory Registration Council of New Zealand (TELARC) offering a service of endorsing the competence of personnel and organisations carrying out acceptance testing.
