AN ANALYTICAL METHOD OF PROPORTIONING AGGREGATES FOR CONTROLLED CONCRETE
Designing of concrete mixes is very essential in modern civil and highway engineering. To get mixes designed by established laboratories every time the gradings of aggregates at site of work change is impracticable. The most time-consuming part of the concrete design is in the proportioning of aggregates. An analytical and exact method for proportioning the aggregates at site is presented in the paper. A worked example using the actual gradings obtained at site is also included. (a) (TRRL)
