A METHOD FOR REAL CALCULATION OF THE LOADING OF OVERHEAD LINES

With continuing electrification, the processes have been updated for dimensioning overhead lines and calculating the influence of parallel cables, taking into account predicted traffic densities. Considering projected train schedules, the temperature of the contact wire, the current at feeder points, current in the catenary, and line losses are calculated with the new method.
