Experimental Design for Measuring Operational Performance of Truck Parking Terminal Using Simulation Technique
This paper examines the challenges of managing truck parking at commercial ports while maintaining operations. The parking terminal must be planned with consideration of port trucking activity. The authors evaluate the functionality of parking terminals through a literature review and traffic simulation tools, and they make recommendations for improvements to terminals.
