TECHNOLOGY REVIEW OF ARCTIC OFFSHORE OIL/GAS OPERATIONS
This report presents a review of the state of the art in the design and construction of offshore drilling facilities that may be used in oil/gas exploration on the northern Alaska Outer-Continental Shelf (OCS). It addresses the hazards posed by the Arctic environment, reviews potential development concepts and their vulnerabilities, and draws conclusions as to the risks.
