EVALUATION OF THE ALCOHOL REEXAMINATION PROGRAM FOR DRIVERS WITH TWO MAJOR TRAFFIC CONVICTIONS

Major changes in drunk legislation have recently (January, 1982) been implemented and they have a strong bearing on the reexamination being investigated. These changes and their impact on the reexamination are outlined in the Discussion Section of this report. However, only the pre-1982 DUI control system is discussed here in order to show the rationale for the reexamination project at the time it was designed in 1978.
