TAXICAB USER CHARACTERISTICS IN SMALL & MEDIUM-SIZE CITIES (JAN 1976)

Narrative report on socioeconomic characteristics and trip habits of taxicab passengers in small and medium size cities. Includes 18 tables showing population and number of taxicabs in each survey city; and distribution of surveyed taxi users by sex, race, age, education, employment, income, driver license, and automobile ownership, with comparisons to total population; and trip purpose and frequency, location of pickup and delivery, fare, and bus use.
