The document records consist of a record number, title, abstract, author, and availability data. Output: output is in the form of file searches (batch and on-line), monthly current awareness reports by subject area, and the quarterly publication, HRIS Abstracts. Availability: output is publicly available for a fee from the Transportation Research Board, National Academy of Sciences. The input comes from many domestic and foreign sources. Major contributors are FHWA, Trans. Research Board, State transportation agencies, Internatl. Road Federation, and International Road Research Documentation.
