STATISTICAL BULLETINS, 1923-PRESENT

Purpose: to publish needed statistics on agriculture obtained and compiled as part of the work of the Department on such subjects as production, movement from the farm, receipts at principal markets, farm and market prices, exports and imports, etc. Data appearing in these bulletins are usually in their final form and cover a large period of time. A complete listing of all statistical bulletins may be found in the checklist of major U.S. Government series, Volume 1, Department of Agriculture. Also, the series is covered in full in the companion publication, guide to U.S. Government statistics.
