ACCIDENTS OF LARGE MOTOR CARRIERS OF PROPERTY

Accident reports are furnished because Bureau of Motor Carrier Safety Reg. requires a report when an accident involves a motor vehicle engaged in the interstate, foreign, or intrastate operations of a motor carrier subject to the Department of Transportation Act. Covers interstate motor carriers with annual operating revenues more than $200,000. Motor carriers of property fall into two broad categories--private carries and for-hire carriers. (TSC)
