FREIGHT TRANSPORT FORECASTS FOR 1990, THE PRETRAM MODEL
PREVISIONS DE TRANSPORTS DE MARCHANDISES A L'HORIZON 1990, MODELE PRETRAM
This macro-economic model for the prediction of freight transport is based on the links between the main economic sectors and their reflective transport flows. It enabled modal split (railway, road, waterways, pipelines) to be determined. The 1962-1974 data were used to forecast freight transport for the period 1982-1990.
