In this report the following appendices are presented (1) a study of the most suitable starting year for the trend analysis; (2) uncertainties in the (trend) expectations due to chance fluctuations with the regression method; (3) adapted regression method with fictive members of accident victims; (4) determination of the percentage of use of safety belts and crash helmets; calculation of fictive number of accident deaths, and (5) estimation of the magnitude and development of the effect of the energy crises on cars.
