RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE CHARACTERIZATION OF CONSTRUCTION SITES

The recommendations contain the legal requirements for the characterization and securing of construction sites and the necessary basic rules for the mounting and setting up of road traffic signs, verticle traffic devices (screens, safety fences), lighting and signals. Tables give stopping distances on a wet or dirty carriageway, the extra braking distance needed on a slope and the capacity of cars per hour for each direction given a speed of 30 km/h or 50 km/hr through the site.
