Acceptabilité des Zones d'Action Prioritaire pour l'amélioration de la qualité de l'air : Rapport final

This deliverable presents a research that focused on the acceptability of ZAPA. The central question is the acceptability of a measure restricting certain road traffic to improve the air quality in urban areas. The main objective is the study of willingness to accept a restrictive measure based on its characteristics and the identification and understanding of various psychological and socio-economic factors that play a role in acceptability. A questionnaire survey was conducted among a sample of 1000 people. Its originality lies in a dual approach that is both psychological (particularly on attitudes towards pollution and mobility) and economical, with the presentation of scenarios (relating to compensatory measures in terms of cost / benefit for residents, and arbitration between environmental effectiveness and equity)
