URBAN RESIDENTIAL LOCATION MODELS
The purpose of the book is to comment on attempts at urban spatial modelling. Although many failed to meet their stated objectives they have contributed to progress in this field of determinants of urban spatial patterns for use in traffic forecasting applications. The book attempts to collect the most interesting work in urban residential simulation modelling. It represents the initial postulating and testing of hypotheses concerning the observable determinants of residential spatial patterns. The work is intended to provide a background for further work with contemporary urban simulations. (TRRL)
