Improvement of PM Loading Prediction Accuracy in a Diesel Particulate Filter

Diesel Particulate Filter のPM 堆積予測精度の向上

For exhaust gas regulations of particle matter(PM), it is common to install a diesel particulate filter (DPF) in a vehicle with a diesel engine. To predict a performance includes pressure drop of the DPF, the authors had developed a physical based model of the DPF. In this study, they focused on the 4 model parameters and searched optimal values to minimize errors between simulations and experiments for some conditions by Fletcher–Reeves conjugate gradient method. And they report the results of the optimization.DPFへのSoot堆積現象において、Wall層からCake層への堆積は切替関数Φで表現される。この関数Φにおける浸透係数ΨはFittingパラメータで、実験により求められるが、これらの決定は人によって行われることが多く、汎用性・再現性の点で課題がある。これら課題解決のためモデルパラメータの最適化手法について検討結果を報告する。
